In 2016, Patrick and Ingrid realised their dream by acquiring ‘Het Butselhof,’ a picturesque location in rural Boutersem. Their horse farm boasts a cozy and beautiful infrastructure, creating an ideal setting for participants to immerse themselves in focused training experiences. Utilising horses as valuable partners in their training, the couple,
both with extensive backgrounds in engineering and business, are passionately dedicated to assisting others on their transformative journey.
Ingrid, an ‘Eponaquest instructor,’ honed her skills in the Five Roles of the Master Herder during a 2023 training in Arizona, inspired by Linda Kohanov’s leadership model. In 2011, Ingrid already developed her own unique leadership model. Over the years, they have successfully conducted training courses for companies, such as Elia and Crossroad, and organised the Mini-Journey (EQUIpi Work) during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the summers of 2018 and 2019, Patrick and Ingrid have successfully established Youth Academies.
Het Butselhof is the home to four adult horses of various breeds and three Shetland ponies. Beyond the training sessions with our participants, the horses actively participate in sports : dressage and driving.
Leveraging their corporate experience, Patrick and Ingrid lead workshops, WorkClinics, and mini-journeys, inviting participants to join them on a transformative journey of self-discovery, teamwork, and leadership development amid the tranquil setting of Het Butselhof.
